HEALTHY CULINARY TRAVELEating healthy and fresh food when travelling is not easy especially in a world oversaturated with sugar and preservative-laden food products. When we first started our website, our focus was on travelling while following a Paleo diet. Major changes, however, are happening and we are no longer restricting the website to encompass just Paleo. You can read about the changes at this link!
Nevertheless, we are not doing away with our Paleo travel section altogether. Below you will find information for folks who follow the Paleo or AIP diet and who love to travel. We intend to keep this section alive and well on Getting Primal. We started our journey into healthy eating through Paleo and thus, we could never abandon the roots and major tenements of the diet, and that is to eat healthy, wholesome, fresh and unprocessed foods.
This section contains tips on how to travel when Paleo, which restaurants, hotels, and travel establishments cater to families with dietary or food restrictions, and links to our sister website Circus Living where we write about our travel experiences. A list of organic farms and grocery/health food stores are also offered in this section for Paleo folks who prefer to prepare home-cooked meals when they travel.
